My sculpture “Stargazer” was included in Art in the Orchard 2019, a show of 30 outdoor sculptures on display at the Park Hill Orchard in Easthampton, MA. It was given a place of pride at the center of their labyrinth where it stood looking up at the sky reminding viewers of the wonder and beauty of our world, specifically the night sky, and how small we each are in the scheme of things.
This sculptural trellis that I designed and built is called “Gates Two …” It took about three months for me to bend and assemble all of the 130 pieces that make up the piece. It was installed in June 2018 at Congregation Kol Ami in White Plains, NY. I am really excited to see how this piece evolves over time as the metal rusts and the plants grow all over it!
